De functie

We are looking for a Sales Manager Netherlands with experience in the medical sales field, and someone who is going to hit the ground running. The job involves driving the entire sales process from introduction to implementation to closure and establishing a good relationship with the chronic patient target group. The healthcare professionals you will be working with include ENT physicians, Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP’s), nurses, purchase departments and patients.

Responsibilities of this sales role will include negotiation and management of existing relationships, introducing new products and testing concepts, developing customer-specific action plans and always achieving sales goals.

The territory to be covered is the Netherlands. The Product Specialists will report into the role of the Sales Manager.

Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement customer focused sales programs; focus on the end user: the patients.
- Developing and implementing yearly strategic and tactical sales plans for sales team, distribution management, sales promotions, trade shows, end-user visits and product training.
- Managing, training, motivating and evaluating sales staff to ensure that all products are sold in all possible areas responsible.
- Creating accurate monthly forecasts and action plans to meet annual territory sales targets.
- Improving direct relationships with large key accounts to increase local demand.
- Keeping track of current and targeted key account relationships within territory, ensuring a substantial pipeline of new opportunities.
- Monitoring competitive environment: providing feedback and making recommendations regarding competitors and competitive products.
- Ensuring all orders and customer issues are communicated and followed up in a prompt and professional manner.
- Organizing regional sales meetings and other corporate meetings as required.
- Support the process to achieve reimbursement for new products (in close cooperation with Managing Director).

Uw profiel

- Relevant BSc or MSc degree
- At least 4 years experience in managing a sales team
- Experience with Tracheostomy patients is a plus
- Experience in Medical Industry is essential, with working knowledge of purchasing processes and decision makers, experience with medical devices is a plus
- Proven successful experience with distributors is required
- Excellent commercial and communicative skills
- Problem solving skills, self-discipline and motivation
- Influential and persuasive
- Ability to work independently, but with understanding of overall team objectives
- Concerning the patient target group showing empathy is very important
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
